Install Magic Position
Install Magic Position on mobile, desktop, web browser or as an extension — a single account keeps your positions and rules in sync across all your devices.
Install Magic Position
Magic Position runs on mobile, desktop, in a web browser and as a browser extension. You install it on the devices you actually use, and the same account follows you everywhere: your broker accounts, risk rules and open positions stay identical on every screen, in real time.
Before you start
You'll need a Magic Position account. If you don't have one yet, you can create it the first time you open the app on any platform. The same email + password unlocks every version.
Install on mobile
Magic Position is available on iPhone, iPad and Android.
- iOS (iPhone, iPad) — Download the app from the App Store.
- Android — Download the app from Google Play.
Up-to-date links are listed in the Download and try free section of the homepage.
Install on desktop
The desktop application is available on the three major operating systems.
- macOS — Two builds are offered: one for Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, M3, M4) and one for Intel Macs. Pick the one that matches your processor.
- Windows — Available as MSI (classic admin installer) or NSIS (lightweight installer).
- Linux — Available as AppImage (universal), DEB (Debian, Ubuntu) or RPM (Fedora, openSUSE).
Installers are fetched automatically from the latest published release. Start the download from the Download and try free section of the homepage.
Use it in a browser
If you'd rather not install anything, just open the web app. Every feature is available, including broker connections and order placement. It's also the fastest way to try Magic Position from any computer.
Install a browser extension
For users who like to keep Magic Position one tab away, two extensions are available:
- Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Brave, Edge, Opera, Vivaldi) — from the Chrome Web Store.
- Firefox — from the Mozilla add-ons catalog.
The install links are also listed in the Download and try free section of the homepage.
Your data follows whichever device you pick up
Once you're signed in, there's nothing to reconfigure when switching devices. Everything lives on the server:
- Connected broker accounts show up on every device.
- Risk rules created on your computer apply when you trade from your phone.
- A position opened on mobile appears instantly in the desktop or web version.
In practice, you can prepare your rules comfortably on a large screen, then keep an eye on positions from your pocket during the day. PIN locking (see the Devices & security article) stays per-device — it's a local physical safeguard.
